UPDATED/ Victoria – Premiered & Awarded at 9 Festivals

We are proud to share the incredible news for our documentary Victoria!


Victoria premiered in Berlinale 2020 where it received Caligary Award. Despite the break from the festival run and other hardships from the pandemic, Victoria was awarded with TVCine Channels Special Award – Copyright acquisition for Portugal at Indie Lisboa. Last week, during the online edition of Beldocs (Balkan premiere) the film received the Special Mention in the main competition. Our UK premiere was at Open City Documentary Festival in London where the film won the Open City Award! Spanish premiere was in Play Doc in Galicia and the film won the main award – Best Play Doc Picture 2020!

The domestic premiere took place during Docville in Leuven /Belgium and the film took the award for the Best Belgian Film. As for the South American premiere – film was shown in Curitiba IFF – Olhar De Cinema and was awarded with Special Jury Prize!

During its French premiere, Victoria took home the Award for Antropology in Jean Rouch FF. Film got the distribution in France with ADAV network. Our US premiere was in BIG Sky Documentary Film Festival and film won the Award for the Artistic Vision in Big Sky Award Competition.


As for the upcoming screenings, we are happy to tell that the film will be shown in FICUNAM Meixco, San Francisco IDFF, Women IFF Dortmund/ Cologne.


The Belgian national distributor Dalton Distribution has the theater run scheduled for November in Belgium and Netherlands. The national premieres are planned during Docville Festival and BOZAR Berlinale Programme Brussels. Film was acquired by Arsenal Distribution for theatrical distribution in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The film will also be available in West Balkan thanks to Beldocs Distribution. All other territories are currently available.
